Rodney Karl's first wife was Eleanor. This marriage is recorded in Volume 17-326 at the Saline County Courthouse. I believe there was no issue, and I have a vague recollection that the marriage was a short one. They were married in the home of Helen Johnson's parents.
May Spradling, the second wife, had her own son when they married. They lived for some time in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 1920 Nebraska Census census shows Rodney Karl was born in Wyoming. (If so, probably Lander). Family records compiled by Stephen Johnson show Rodney being born in Curtis, Nebraska.
Karl once said, hopefully jokingly, "I've lost my mind and I'm trying to find it".
Karl served in WWII as a Private in the 211th Military Police Co.
The birth and death dates came from the cemetery stone.
Rodney Karl died of a heart problem.
