The frame barn near the lower mill belonging to C.C. White was burned last Friday. About $50 worth of hay was stored in the bam just previous to the burning. The fire is supposed to have started by some small boys in the neighborhood. Mr. White was absent at the time. The. fire department again demonstrated its superior efficiency and value at this time and the water mains had fortunately just been laid to that part of town.
1483CC died of appendicitis.
