Edward, fourth son of the Englishman, lived and died in Lunenburg and left five sons, Archer, Thomas, Edward, William and Robert, and two daughters, Both daughters married a Mr. Chaffin. Robert never married, Archer died in Georgia during the Revolutionary War. He was a captain in the army. Thomas, second son of Edward and grandson of the Englishman, lived and died in Charlotte Co Va. He married his cousin Miss Chaffin and left five sons, Archer, John, Thomas, William and Edward, and four daughters, Phoebe, Harriet, Elizabeth and Nancy.
Archer married twice and left a large family near Salem, Franklin County, Tenn.
John also married twice and left a family of children in Marshall Co. Tenn.
Thomas moved to Gibson County, Tenn. and. left one son Sam and six or seven daughters. Edward moved to Limestone County, Ala. died at 83 and left two sons, Charles and James. They have a number of children, sons and daughters.
Phoebe married John Foster. Harriet married Nathan Chaffin her double cousin; Betty married George W. Foster (not John.) and Nancy married James Vaughn. They all moved to Tennessee to Maury, Bedford, Rutherford & Franklin Counties and died leaving families except Harriet who had no children.
