My mother Stella Gilliam) fell and broke her collar bone. She had her arm in a sling
for quite some time but the bone never healed so now she just has to be
careful. She needs assistance in getting around the house and my sisters
are so helpful in that regard ... getting her to the bathroom, putting her
to bed, bringing meals, etc. Mom also had a mini-stroke a few weeks ago
which lasted less than 30 seconds and did not cause any damage. She is
still mentally alert but her balance is not very good.277
