John Knowles (1732-77) served as private in Capt. James Norris' company, Colonel Poor's regiment, 1775.
He was born in Hampton; died in Fremont, N. H.
Levi Crowell (1746-1807) responded to the Lexington Alarm in Capt. Joshua Gray's company and later
served as sergeant in same company, seacoast defense. He died in Oakland, Me.
Joseph Crowell (1725-98) served on the Committee of Correspondence, Inspection and Safety. He died in
Belgrade, Me.
Ithiel Gordon was selectman of Raymond, N. H., 1778. He was born in Brentwood, N. H.; died, 1828, in
Readfield, Me.
Joseph Millard (1741-1832) served as private in Capt. Asa Fairbanks' company, Major Metcalf's regiment,
1777. He was born in Rehoboth; died in Wrentham, Mass.
Daniel Thurston (1722-85) and Abijah Thurston (1751-1812) served as privates in Capt. Elijah Pond's
company, Major Metcalf's regiment. They were born and died in Wrentham, Mass.
Joel Richardson (1750-1819) served as private in Capt. Isaac Wood's company, Col. Jonathan Read's
regiment of guards. He was born in Attleborough, Mass.; died in Belgrade, Me.
