Military graveside services for Harold McCray, 70, father of Mrs. Royal Cronquist of Chula Vista, were held Friday in the Veterans Administration Cemetery at Los Angeles. Born in Nebraska, McCray served as a master sergeant in World Wars I and II. He died in the Los Angeles Veterans Hospital where he had been confined since becoming ill in June. Until his illness, he had lived in San Diego since 1938. McCravy was a member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Also surviving are two sons, Harry and Austin of San Diego; three other daughters, including Mrs. Stewart Hoffmann of Spring Valley and Mrs. Jennie Perry of Chula Vista; two brothers, Jess and Roy of San Diego; 19 grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.
