Edward Eyre, baptized 23 January 1626. Edward went to Ireland where he settleld in County Galway where he was High Sheriff in 1680. He married Jane, the second daughter of Lord Maynard. Edward and Jane are the ancestors of Eyreville through their daughter Jane, and of Macroom Castle through their son Edward. Edward, Sr., was also a Member of Parliament.134
