6. Chester A. Fraser, son of Eliada and Cynthia Jane Fraser, born at Woodland, June 29, 1859, was four when his primary education began at the public school in his home town. Later he attended the New Lisbon, Westfield, and Portage High Schools, all Wisconsin towns.

He married, August 7, 1879, Minnie Pixly, of Portage, Wis., daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Blanchard) Pixly.
