ABRAHAM ARCHIBAULD MCCROBIE, b. Feb. 1836 in Allegany County, MD. Married NANCY CATHERINE FRIEND, b. 1840 Abraham served in the military during the Civil War as corporal of CCCo. D, 3rd Potomac Home Brigade, Maryland Infantry. Abraham and Nancy were farmers and lived on Upperman Road in Allegany County, MD. The remains of some of the farm buildings can still be seen. ABRAHAM died 31 December 1917 MD. Abraham and Nancy are buried in the MCCROBIE Cemetery.466
