WILLIAM B. BURBIDGE

CANNING, NS Jan. 13 - William Bernard Burbidge, Habitant, Kings County, passed away at Westwood Hospital, Wolfville, on Friday, January 8, after a few days' illness, aged 35 years. Mr. Burbidge, who was born in Worcestershire, England, married a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marchant Steele, Scott's Bay, who, with their three children, survive. Mr. Burbidge, who was a member of Trinity United Church, was widely known and respected.
The funeral was held from Trinity United Church, Canning, on Sunday afternoon and was largely attended, and was conducted by Dr. Thomas Hodgson. Special music was rendered by the mixed quartette.
An aged grandfather, with whom the late Mr. Burbidge resided before coming to Nova Scotia, fiften years ago, also survives.
