Notes for Sarah Currier
After the death of Ziba Roberts, Sarah married Richard Harvey of Walden in 1845 and in 1853 married Henry Cole, also of Walden
Ziba and Sarah Courier Roberts were the parents of seven children and Samuel Courier Roberts was the third child.
For additional data on the Currier ancestry of Samuel Courier Roberts, see volume 2 of "Courier Family Records of USA and Canada" published in 1984 by Phillip Joseph Currier, Patterson Hill Road, Hennicker, NH 03242. I once concluded a Samuel Courier was the father of James Currier of the fourth generation, but the recently published three volume "Currier Family Records" persuaded me that Asa was the father of James, as noted above. The vital records of Massachusetts and Vermont support the published genealogy.
For information regarding Asa Currier and his Bunker Hill service, see page 213 of E.M.C. manuscript ( copy with Phillip Joseph Currier) and page 784 of H.L.C. manuscript ( copy in Amesbury Public Library, Amesbury, Massachusetts), both of which are referenced in "Currier Family Records."
