Mrs. Mathilde C. True, aged 86 years, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter Dr. Augusta I. True, 920 East Jenkins. The funeral will be held from the True residence Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will take place in they El Reno cemetery beside her husband who died some years ago. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Dr. True and a granddaughter Miss Marion Grant and a brother who resides in San Francisco. The deceased had resided in El Reno since 1907. OCTOGENARIAN DIES
Mrs. Matilda True, mother of D. A.I. True, passed away at the home of the latter at 920 East Jenkins, Sunday. The deceased was born in Canada in 1836, being 86 years of age at the time of her death. In addition to her daughter here, she is survived by a brother in California, and a granddaughter, Miss Marrion Grant, who teaches in the El Reno schools. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning by Rev. G. F. Buirley and interment was in the El Reno cemetery. From the El Reno American, Thursday, April 19, 1923.969
