Augustine Friend, son of John, Sr., in 1790 resided at the Dunkard Bottom on Cheat River. He moved to Missouri. Two of his sons were Augustine and Andrew. Source - Capt. Charles E. Hoye, "Glades Star", No. 8, Dec. 31, 1942.
Augustine Friend was still in Maryland in 1796. Augustine left Maryland but returned for a visit. He married Ann Sisler who lived near Bruceton. They moved to Missouri. All their children were born in Missouri. Source - "Indian Blood", Evelyn Guard Olsen", pg. 85434
