Frank came to Nebraska about 1883 and bought a farm near the Ellison Church, 8 miles south and 3 miles east of Friend, just east of the Ellison (Monroe) Cemetery. The original house was razed about 1993. He and his wife Cora lived there until 1910 when they moved to a farm one mile south of Friend. In 1923 they moved into Friend and lived at 919 2nd St. A daughter, Alice, is now (1997) living in that farmhouse. Frank is listed as 62 in the 1920 census, born in IL, lived in Friend. Others include wife Cora, 57, born in IL; Olive, 31; Frank Jr,27; Murrell, 17; Mabel L, 14; Clark C, 12; Hazel F, 10; and Alice F, 7. All children born in NE.
