Re: Richard Robert Crowe Family
Stephen,
I think there is some confusion here. Richard Robert Crowe, 1808-1884 died in Oasis, Wisconsin. His wife, Mary, is buried there also. Attached are photos of both graves. I visited this cemetery in 2007. Several other Crowes are buried there including E.E.'s 3rd wife (the 3rd attachment).
RR's son, TP, died in Warren County, Tennessee.
I have never seen a Mary Hull as a wife of either RR or of TP. I think the LDS record is incorrect in that one respect. I believe the Mary buried at Oasis is Mary Ann Cogswell.
TP had three wives. The first two were sisters. They both died young, the 1st one in childbirth. The maiden name of the mother of the two sisters was Hull. TP's son, Ray, born by the 2nd sister, was given the middle name Hull. I'm guessing this is where the name Hull came from. TP's 3rd wife was Nancy Jane Walker Bonner.
Bill
